Stacie is a partner and member of the firm’s leadership team. She leads our business development and marketing efforts and supervises the small business services team. Stacie is passionate about certified public accountants’ role and mission to help clients grow, prosper, and profit.

Stacie is passionate about the role of certified public accountants and using their gifts and talents to support their clients. As businesses face constant pressures and challenges, they increasingly need independent partners who will listen proactively, provide honest and thoughtful counsel, and step in to help when needed. Stacie’s compassion, drive, and energy in guiding the success of the firm’s clients and their teams are unparalleled. Her background in various business areas provides her with a “big picture” approach, making her a valuable tool in the firm’s mission to help clients grow, prosper, and profit.

Stacie graduated from Northwestern College with a BA in Accounting in 1995 and joined Cain Ellsworth in November 2002 after working in public administration and the insurance industry. Starting as a tax professional, assisting clients with their accounting, payroll, and tax planning and preparation services, she was promoted to Firm Administrator, Marketing Director, and Director of Business Development before becoming a firm partner in May 2019.

Stacie and her husband, Vern, have four children and six grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her grandchildren, hiking, rock hunting, being outdoors with her family, attending family events, exercising, and relaxing with a great book. She volunteers as a board member for various organizations and non-profits and youth mentor.
